If you follow me on social media, you will have probably noticed I am working on a few personal projects this year.
The first one is to get in the frame with both of my kids, once a week. So by the end of the year, I'll a collection of 52 images. It's completely out of my comfort zone, as it is for most photographers, but I'm determined to be in those memories and frames this year.
Another personal project is to shoot my kids once a month and to produce a short film for both of them. I would love for each of my children to have their own film per month, but I'm not sure if I'll make that work. I'll try of course, but I won't be too hard on myself if I can't make it. I will probably do a mix of them together, and individually depending on the month.
So my first film of the year is Lukka exploring and playing with a tree on a very windy winter day here in O'ahu. It barely gets cold here, unless a freak cold front comes in, but still, we are very blessed to live in a place where we can play outside and at the beach year round.
I hope you'll follow along in this year of exploration and discovery as I dive deeper into motion films and learn more along the way.
